DESIGN DESCRIPTION
Enigmatic Walls

This project is an interpretation of the classic Mexican house with a Patio. It is also a possible answer to the very narrow and long terrains formed in the XVIII century historic sites in México City. These terrains were divided into lots in such a size with the purpose of selling more lots facing the street.

The lot is segmented throughout its length by a series of stone walls. The “zigzag” promenade throughout the new constructions always lets us see a little more of the next space.

In this way, you will never know for certain where the terrain ends.

All of the houses are conceived in the same way, but there are some elements which can be subtracted or added depending on the user’s needs. In this way, no house is like other.
