DESIGN DESCRIPTION

YouTube Animation

This stunning house is located on the seashore of the Pacific Ocean at Tres Vidas Golf Course. Designed as a set of boxes that offer different views, the house boasts an open central space that connects the ground-level deck and the swimming pool area. The boundary between the private plot and the golf course disappears, creating an expansive landscape view that blends seamlessly with the golf course.

The landscape features a grid of transversal lines that frame the construction and create a beautiful effect of vegetation planes. The Master bedroom is an elevated structural concrete tube supported by two rectangular column points, creating an open space that functions as an observatory deck. To combat the heat and humidity, shadow areas have been incorporated into the design. The pool area, featuring ceramic tiles designed by Architect Greta Hauser, is treated as a sole plan or rug, adding to the poetic beauty of the landscape and recreational area.
