\nPAUL CREMOUX Studio is an architectural practice committed to designing sustainable, eco-effective architecture. Our goal is to produce architecture that celebrates life, enriches the natural environment, and the human condition. We envision a process that integrates environmental enrichment, beauty, and social responsibility with the client\u2019s functional, economic, and aspirational needs.<\/p>\n

We respond to our clients\u2019 needs through a rigorous and systematic design process supported by advanced technological tools. We lead the development of projects of diverse typologies and scales with a high level of precision and control.<\/p>\n

Our methodology integrates Performance-Based Design, Life Cycle Assessment, climate-specific analysis, and advanced modeling to anticipate building performance, predict energy consumption, and evaluate operational costs. This allows us to explore multiple design scenarios and propose solutions that align environmental responsibility, spatial quality, and economic intelligence\u2014supporting our clients in making informed and confident decisions throughout the design process.<\/p>\n

Paul Cremoux Studio\u2019s work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) in Mexico City and at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in London, and has been selected by Architizer as one of the Best 30 Firms in Mexico.<\/p>\n

The studio\u2019s projects have been published in leading international architecture and design media such as Domus<\/em> (Italy), Architectural Record<\/em>, and Dwell Magazine<\/em>, as well as in numerous national and international design magazines, books, and architectural platforms.<\/p>\n

Our work has received multiple national and international distinctions, including WAN (World Architecture News), Best of Design by Houzz (USA), and Second Place in the Guadalajara Library International Competition.<\/p>\n

Paul Cremoux Studio has also been awarded grants and scholarships from institutions such as CONACYT and FONCA, and maintains an active academic presence at leading universities, including UNAM, IBERO, An\u00e1huac University, and ITESM.<\/p>\n

What we care about<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Forty percent of the world\u2019s energy is used by buildings. More than 50% of greenhouse gas emissions come from buildings and the construction industry.
\nHow we design and build today directly shapes the future of our planet.<\/p>\n

For us, adopting sustainable alternatives is not a matter of trend\u2014it is a matter of responsibility. From an architectural point of view, everything we build must be part of the environment and interact positively with it. We design with the conviction that architecture can regenerate rather than merely reduce harm.<\/p>\n

We integrate advanced methodologies, including Performance-Based Design, Site Analysis, Energy Modeling, and Life Cycle Assessment, to develop passive and mechanical strategies that improve building performance and support informed decision-making from early design stages.<\/p>\n

Born in Mexico City in 1973, he has a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Architecture from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM, Mexico, 1999). Laureate with merit recognition for academic excellence. Professional Registration M\u00e9xico, Secretar\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n P\u00fablica, Architecture License No. 3556730. Cremoux holds a Master\u2019s in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University (USA, 2001). Professional student practice at the Public Establishment for the Development of La Def\u00e9nse (EPAD) (Paris, FRANCE 1996), CONACYT Grant recipient, FONCA Grant recipient, and interning at Cerault Architects in Paris (FRANCE 1998). Certified BPA (Building Performance Analysis REVIT\/BIM) by Autodesk (USA 2013, 2017). and Autodesk Certified Professional\u00a0 REVIT\u00a0 user 2015 ID.00430160 2018 to 2021 Link Acclaim\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>and LEED Green Associate by the USGBC. Winner of several international contests. First place at Cergy-Pontoise, European University of Built Environment, Paris, France. First place at the National Contest of Architecture Schools, Quer\u00e9taro, Mexico. First place at the Mexico-Uruguay International Contest, Mexico. Second place at the International Open Competition for the Library of Guadalajara, Mexico.<\/p>\n

Some of the exhibits’ work includes The MAM (Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City), ANAHUAC University Professors Exhibit, FONCA 20 years of Grant Laureate (National Fund for Culture and Arts) at the Jos\u00e9 Vasconcelos Library, and the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects in London, UK), among others.<\/p>\n

Won scholarships and grants, such as the National Science and Technology Mexican Council (CONACYT)\u00a0 Scholarship for graduate studies. The Alejo Peralta Foundation Grant for Young Talents. The IUSA Group Grant. The Foreign Affairs Relations Office Grant and National Fund for Culture and Arts grant winner, Young Creators (FONCA).<\/p>\n

Cremoux has been an associate professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), an associate professor of design studios II, IV, and VI, and a member of the Digital Design Lab at the Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey (TEC, ITESM) in Mexico City. He is also an associate professor at Universidad Anahuac and TEC de Monterrey in Queretaro City. He also conducts the Architecture and Energy Lecture-class workshop at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City (IBERO).<\/p>\n

Special guest lecturer at the “Future Tecno-constructions seminar” at the Universidad Iberoamericana (IBERO) and conference for the International Symposium of Sustainable Architecture at the graduate studies, UNAM. Invited to academic juries at CUNY and Pratt Institute, USA.<\/p>\n

He has published several projects and articles in magazines and newspapers, as well as TV show interviews such as \u201cCanal 40TV, Confabulario\u201d, Featured work at Architectural Record Feature Houses on the web, Dwell Magazine, Dezeen, designboom, WAN, designMilk, FRAME, Yank Design, and Archdaily, among others. He worked in Mexico for Gensler on projects for Credit Suisse, Aon, L’Or\u00e9al, and Boston Bank. And for the Hillier Group in N.Y. \/ RMJM in projects like Pfizer of London, Icahn Track and Field Stadium in Randalls Island, N.Y., Hoboken Master Plan, Post & Shell interiors in Philadelphia, and PS Master Plan in Buffalo, among others.\u00a0 In 2002 and 2003, he designed furniture for Alcon Manufacturers in collaboration with Martha Zieve in N.Y.C. for the Chase Woods Holds. He worked as an architectural designer for the Federal Electoral Institute UNAM and as a construction supervisor at the National Art Center (CNA) in Mexico City.<\/p>\n

In 2005, he co-founded ReCURSO studio (Resource studio) and, in 2009, founded PAUL CREMOUX studio. For the last few years, he has collaborated with numerous American Firms, including Feldman in San Francisco, Rios in Los Angeles and Austin, TX, Olson Kundig in Seattle, WA, and in other locations such as San Antonio, TX, and Santa Barbara, CA. He is currently working on various scale and typology projects.<\/p>\n
