DESIGN DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

YouTube Animation<\/a><\/p>\n

The project’s primary interest is responding to a series of themes: the relationship between steep topography and new construction, clean energy production, economical maintenance, a zero-energy home strategy, and specific customer needs. These intentions establish a philosophy of growth and enrichment for the particular natural site.<\/p>\n

The structure is planted on three levels: street level 0 (access), level -1 (all social areas), and level -2 (bedroom and private areas). The central volume of the house is oriented to the south, acting as a thermal mass (thermostat) that allows all adjoining areas to be naturally heated and regulated.<\/p>\n

As an economic strategy, the level 2, where bedrooms are located, aligns with the site’s natural contour lines.<\/p>\n

The overall project footprint area follows the logic of “Plant Salvation\u201d: a maximum number of oak trees are kept. This enables the proper distribution of green-energy roofs to produce all the energy required by the house.<\/p>\n
