The Lantern. Alberto Campillo is an art dealer who likes to stay at his home working on luminous afternoons. He enjoys the company of silence and the pleasure of a good, peaceful read. Recently, he had a little girl named Camila, and since then, there have been no more long, quiet afternoons. So he asked me to design him a new private and isolated room for his home. “La Linterna” (the lantern) is a 20-square-meter studio on the rooftop of the house.<\/p>\n

It faces a small, lonely street with an old, large tree. The intimacy relies on the tree’s hidden sensation, as well as the 8-inch-wide Venetian wooden blinds that limit the view.<\/p>\n
