DESIGN DESCRIPTION
\nMixed-use housing building<\/strong><\/p>\n

This apartment block includes a commercial area on the ground floor, private gardens or terraces for residents, and a section of small apartments or studios for visiting academics from UNAM. The project comprises two blocks that create a central interior space, serving as a private garden situated at a split level above the street. The garden features a hedgerow and a pergola made of treated wood, providing a balance between the exterior elements while ensuring ventilation and illumination for the underground parking lot.<\/p>\n

The design offers a restrained, secure, and private area between the two building blocks. The north facade faces the main street and is characterized by its solid structure and minimal interaction with the street. This facade houses services and the elevated self-service commercial area, which allows for street-level parking and seamlessly integrates with the urban corner.<\/p>\n

The south facade, in contrast, boasts large terraces that open towards the interior garden. The temperature here is regulated by the planting of ash trees, which adorn the entire south facade, enhancing the aesthetic and environmental quality of the apartments.<\/p>\n
