DESIGN DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

YouTube Animation<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cEl Huacal\u201d is a wooden basket used to transport fruit and vegetables to Mexican markets. This petite project reclaims the space of a design backyard and a dark, cold, old studio.<\/p>\n

We have reused this space to design a single square element that divides two sunny rooms, a small, gleaming bathroom, closet storage, and a new outdoor terrace. This original element also features a long bridge linking the main bedroom to the new area.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Made with \u201cCradle to Cradle\u201d materials, \u201cEl Huacal\u201d represents an effort to use existing conditions to create better indoor and outdoor living spaces.<\/p>\n
