Pedestrian UNAM Bridge
DESIGN DESCRIPTION
The bridge acts as a connection node between public transportation and pedestrian passage throughout “Insurgentes” street, re-linking a major university campus. Cage-like walls display cultural information and promotional materials showcasing the University’s cultural life and diversity. It is also a critical street billboard for communication. At the center of the structure, we can find a small Newsstand and Ticket booth, defined by an ellipsoidal shape. This pedestrian passage is a multi-purpose module built of concrete and structural elements.
